Here are a list of resources for those who are interested in exploring the many options available to you to homeschool your children. I am a HUGE advocates for homeschooling the African child in America. I hope that you find what you are looking for here. I have placed italics to the schools that I have personally had experiences with and recommend. Enjoy!

Afrocentric Homeschoolers Association

National Black Home Educators (NBHE)

  • Exists to serve African American families with resources, curriculum and community.

  • The first-ever online directory to promote schools founded by African Americans.

Look into local homeschool groups to help you learn the legal ropes and connect with other Black homeschooling families in your area. With a Bachelor’s from Dillard University and a Master’s in Public Health from Florida International University, she’s committed to sharing honest narratives about black motherhood.
